Unit 32 Assignment Two - Task Two

The idea for this ident suite came from a mind map created on the back of my storyboard. The suites will be made with playdoh for the Cbeebies channel, the playdoh will make the show more interesting for younger generations. Playdoh allows the creator to be creative with the pieces of work with what is made using the playdoh.

Forrest (Rabbit) Ident

First i will go through the idents in order of which I created them, the first i created was the ident that was made for a Autumn(ish) theme. The ident included a rabbit that would be parading throughout the forrest digging holes and finding the Cbeebies letters, the rabbit would then place each letter on different trees and at the end a repeated loop of the sky moving with the cbeebies letters on the trees. The younger generation would enjoy this type of animation as it would require them to use their imagination to bring the rabbit to life.

Desert (Snake, Flute) Ident

The second ident I thought of was a summer(ish) themed ident which would include a desert, a snake and a vase pot. The idea was to have the ident start watching a vase pot thats out in the desert, a flute would begin to play which would cause a snake to waken and come out the vase in consequence to the flute. The flute would make the snake come out of the vase with half its body, the cbeebies letters would appear in the sand and as the snake comes out it would begin dancing by wiggling to the music. A repeated loop would begin of the Cbeebies & snake dancing to the flute.

Ocean (Dolphins) Ident

The third ident I thought of was a spring(ish) themed ident where there would be two dolphins parading in the ocean during tricks whilst one would hit the sun out the sky and begin to play with it like a beach ball and would end up in a repeated loop of the dolphins passing the ball back and forth with cbeebies writing in the background.

Here is an animatic i created using all of the storyboards from each ident. One long video allows for the idents to be shown in full as a whole suite and an explanation of each scene of the ident as well as the order.
